Event Description

Race Around Karnataka (RAKA) is a unique RAAM qualifying cycling event that is designed to circumnavigate around the Karnataka state.

RAKA covers 2,240 kms with an elevation of 15,800 meters. The race is divided into 20 Time- stations that span the entire route. There are no designated rest periods for food and sleep. The clock runs from start to finish as if in a time trial, and the final overall finish including the rest periods must be completed in 132/140 hours (for Solo male/female) to be considered a successful finish.

RAKA is all about testing your limits, your physical endurance, your mental strength, your planning, your emotions, basically questioning what are you made of?
